From the vault...

I had a blog in the mid 2000s... while I was working in insurance and bored with my life. This was before I discovered my glorified hobo days. I could tell you the url, but then I'd have to kill you... because you'd have a window into my thoughts during my mid 20's and my inability to post pictures in blog posts.
In light of Easter happening in a week... here is a post from my old blog:

SATURDAY, APRIL 10, 2004
My Grammas have sent us Jesus Easter cards this year. In the past, usually it's a card with a bunny or a basket of flowers, or colored eggs or something. This year... I think they co-conspired to remind us that Jesus is the Reason for the Season.
One of the cards is Jesus amongst white stargazer lilies with his arms outstretched, and the other one... is Jesus FLYING, not like Superman flying but more like Magneto at the Statue of Liberty flying. It is tough to say which card I would like to scan and then print out onto an iron on thing and then make into a T-shirt. If I had to pick just one... I couldn't. Jesus in relaxi taxi mode? Or Jesus on the go? Which one? I guess it would depend on your mood.



My favorite part about Easter? Mimosas.

Also... tomorrow is opening day at Fenway. Am I excited? Absolutely.
A brand new season of the Kevin Youkilis pirate swagger batting stance?? Yes.
