Silver Springs, Florida is named for what they boast - silver springs. Between 1938 and 1982, Bruce Mozert was inspired to take photos that reflected (no pun intended) just how clear the silver springs really are. Mozert's photos showed people posing as if there was no water surrounding them - a trick used to lure families and tourists to come see the springs (primarily during the 1950's), as a result there is definitely a nostalgic feel to them.
