Grace.

FIVE THINGS I'M THANKFUL FOR:

1 - The Mesozoic Mind Music Video from the hit 1987 film "Dinosaurs" Starring Fred Savage.

2 - Skype

3 - Pumpkin Flavored Items

Our director for Better Off Wed brought part of her leftover wedding cake to our first show Friday night (thanks Bina!!). It was a pumpkin wedding cake, and it got me thinking about how much I love pumpkin flavored items. In no particular order: Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Pumpkin Ravioli, Pumpkin Donuts (from Atkins Farm), Pumpkin Whoopie Pies (which I bake, but only seasonally), Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Pancakes, Pumpkin Turkey Chili... the list goes on. Pumpkins rule. I think my affinity for them started in 2nd grade when I portrayed a witch by the name of Awful Agnes in the hit play "Awful Agnes and the Enchanted Pumpkin Patch".

4 - The Little Red School House

This is the famed school house from the "Mary Had a Little Lamb" nursery rhyme. It is in Sudbury, Massachusetts nestled between the Grist Mill, the Martha Mary Chapel and the Wayside Inn. That stretch of road would give any history nerd the vapors.
Our Gramma used to take us here and we'd sit and listen to a tourguide dressed in old timey costume tell us about the school house. She didn't make us go... we wanted to go, because we were (are) nerds.
The best visit was when the tourguide told us there was a kitten in one of the desks at the back of the room... and there WAS and we got to play with it. Again, mega nerds.

5 - The Little old Lady in the front row. The one who looks like a sweet little baby. The one who looks like she makes a really good pineapple upside down cake. The one who looks like she could take really good care of Flapjack (if he didn't already have Bubbie).
