Sharp Kids vol. 1

Why my siblings and I were raised to be sharper than you*... vol. 1

From the year 1990 - 1994, our top 5 Favorite VHS videos (in no particular order) included:

Where There's a Will, There's an A... as purchased by our Dad to get us to be straight A students...

The Snowman... as purchased by our Mom, so that we could appreciate colored pencil animation and classical music.

National Geographic's Ocean Drifters... featuring the Bold Garibaldi. Our parents subscribed to NG (insider term) and the following 3 videos were our favorite to watch. I genuinely got excited when I saw the Bold Garibaldi off the coast of Catalina Island in the summer of 2007. I bought my brother a poster to mark the sighting.

National Geographic: Amazon Land of the Flooded Forest... pink river dolphins? Piranhas? This video was amazing.

National Geographic: Bali: Masterpiece of the Gods... we learned the Indonesian National Anthem in this gem of a video... and the culture behind shadow puppets. Classic.

*results still pending.

Yeah! NG! I loved the Bali on the most. I think I can still remember all of it.

Okay, okay...I see how clever we were in directing all of you to nerdhood!!

But remember: the video selection at the packy was extremely limited and Delight was reluctant to order movies for the library!
